There have numerous mini golf & putt putt activations that we have put together last minute for a variety of clients. However, the end of August into Labor Day would present another exciting challenge for us to create a custom 9 hole putt putt course on the rooftop at the famed Peninsula New York Hotel.

The client initially contacted us on the 26th of August seeking a long term mini golf rental with the on Sunday, September 14th and a start date of September 16th. The activation would run through October 5th. The client had very specific requests for elements on the course as well as numerous branding requests as two liquor brands would be represented as part of this activation; Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Dobel Tequila. After having two initial conversations we sent one of our staff to first perform a site inspection to see which experience makes the most sense to create this experience; mini golf or putt putt.

After performing the site inspection, it was quickly determined that the putt putt experience would be the best choice due to the logistics of the Peninsula New York Hotel. Now it was a matter of going about creating the design elements for the course as well as creating the actual individual hole designs for the 9 hole rental. Keep in mind we were first contacted on Tuesday the 26th of August and the installation date was 18 days away and the Labor Day weekend was part of these 18 days so our time was going to be extremely tight to meet this client's expectations as well as produce our already other mini golf & putt putt events that were already under contract.

An agreement was created based on the site inspection and the initial conversation but because there were several parties involved including our client, the client's client which was the two liquor brands and the hotel, the brandable elements kept getting revised, changed, eliminated and then some brought back into the activation. On Thursday, September 4th and agreement was signed and official production began of this two brand activation.
