The University of Maryland Athletic Department contacted us to provide a 9 hole mini golf rental for their football during summer training camp. The course would be installed in their indoor practice facility and they wanted an experience that would entertain the players, coaches and support staff and would be both entertaining & challenging.

In working with the decision maker, we let her know that we can also offer some of the holes with red turf which she was very excited to see in person. Our crew traveled on one of the worst weather days of the summer of 2025 with severe thunderstorms but anticipating that, we left very early allowing extra time to make the trip to College Park, Maryland.

The course we provided had 6 holes with red turf and 3 holes with the traditional green turf. The holes that had the green turf were accented with nautical theme items including Lobster traps and sand traps. There were 6 holes with red turf matching the colors of the University of Maryland and these holes had all red obstacles with the exception of the traditional yellow Loop de Loop mini golf obstacle which the University of Maryland requested.

The red turf holes included a water hole matching the nautical theme and for traps we put in footballs for the attendees to putt around on their to the cup on Hole 7. Another highlight of this rental was Hole 4 with its red turf and the bank shot fairway with its curved turn and a Terps sign measuring 90 inches wide. This hole also included our dangling chimes mini golf obstacle and measured 31.5 feet long from tee to cup.
