There are certain obstacles that one associates with miniature golf. Loop De Loop, The Windmill, The Railroad Crossing and The Lighthouse. Our Lighthouse is modeled after The Cape May Lighthouse which was built in 1859, was opened to the public in 1988, and is still in operation today. While the tower height of the actual Cape May Lighthouse is 157 feet, our Lighthouse as a mini golf obstacle stands a respectable 7 feet and 3 inches. Just like the original Lighthouse, our Lighthouse is equipped with a slow revolving beacon that rotates every 7.5 seconds.
It is an easy putt through the base of The Lighthouse and many event & party guests often take photos next to it. The Lighthouse requires a power source within 50 feet in order to power the rotating beacon. If a power source is not available, a powered battery back can be provided for an additional fee. Since this obstacle is handcrafted and made from a solid weatherproof foam core covered with synthetic stucco it is not an obstacle that can be branded for either indoor or outdoor events.
